The “illness” is because he is denying his natural reasonable reaction/ action to the threat. You cant live healthy with a malevolent shadow dogging your everystep. I wrote on the site that I primarily habitate that I AM TIRED.
I was raised on the principle of the “reasonable man” It seems as a society we have moved to a place where GROSS manipulation inorder to achieve whatever goal in mind is perfectly acceptable. Forget Honor, Forget Integrity, Forget doing things the correct way. It is acceptable to lie by omission, to spin, to purposely mislead as long as the goal is attained.
I am sick and tired….. We just sat by and allowed our elected officials to not once, but twice vote on legislation that NO ONE had a chance to READ!!! As a reasonable man, I can understand that occuring on “little bills” but on a Bill that impacts one sixth of our economy? That is downright INSULTING, not to mention darn near criminally negligent.
And the thing that saddens me the most.. is that I would think that was a eff’d up way to do something even if I supported Bill. How can anyone with a modicum of self respect agree with the process as it played out?
It is as if our national psyche of Honor, Integrity, Self Respect, sense of fair play, has been replaced by a juveniles mindset of self centeredness and instant gratification. I have no doubt that this behavior we are seeing has existed in our system, but the behavior was something to NOT be PROUD of, and was more discretionary in its use.
And they have the nerve to look us in the eye and smile. I am sick, I am sick of fighting my natural response to unreasonable behavior and I promise you all, If this upcoming election shows any signs of tampering (out of the ordinary, I am not naive to reality)….. Im going to listen to my inner alarm and respond accordingly…… it is blatently obvious to a BLIND MAN what is happening here and it has to do with changing our model of government. That is the goal of the opposition. It is my goal that the US remain with the model that was designed by the founders.
Obviously …. Something has to give….
