Well, for heaven;’s sake – are you going to tell us where you went and where home is? Inquiring minds want to know. That first photo is very lovely…
Home is Tacoma, but the trip was to McCall, Idaho.
Aha!!! After I hit publish I saw the mountain in the background of the bottom picture and pretty much figured it out.
McCall is lovely. We’re in Post Falls, Idaho and the scenery is similar. Been to Tacoma area many times for business meetings.
Glad you had a wonderful time…
We went to Cabela’s in Post Falls. Its smaller than the one in Lacey.
Good to see you replacing R&R (Romney and Ryan) with a little R&R (Rest and Relaxation).
Glad you enjoyed your vacation. The pictures are stunning.
Wait – wait one minute! You went to Cabela’s, just a few miles from us, and you didn’t bother to have coffee with us? Be still my beating heart!
Confession. We have yet to step foot in Cabela’s. Have to do that some day.
There putting in that huge interchange there for “future” development, and the people of Post Falls can’t get a simple bridge over the freeway connecting the two sides of our business district. Annoying…
That first one looks like a good fishing spot.
Thinking the same thing, AgileDog.
Brings back fond memories of many a beaver pond my buddy and I found while hiking through Estes Park, CO. And they all looked just about like that – smooth as glass, and if you could hide behind the bushes and still cast, a guaranteed catch.
Pissed the locals off something terrible, though. Perfectly legal, but to them, if you’re not fly fishing, you’re not fishing. I told them I would remember them while we had full creels and they had one or two.
What could I say? We’re from Texas and Oklahoma.
Welcome back, BIC.
