“I shouldn’t have to oversee a process where Congress deals with last-year’s budget when we only have six months left.”
No, Mr. President. This Congress shouldn’t have to deal with trying to limit this fiscal year’s spending because the Congress that made Spendulous and the Great HealthCare Takeover priorities wasn’t interested in doing its job and passing a budget for FY 2011.
Really, how hard would it have been to have been a leader then? We know that Nancy likes the good booze. We know that Harry likes it when someone actually listens to him. You could have invited her to the Oval Office for some drinks and conversation…with Harry. (I’d need some drinks, too.)
We cannot be rid of this man fast enough.

But, of course, you know why he didn’t do that last year.
It was an election year. They couldn’t propose their bloated budget w/o being blasted, but they couldn’t -of course- make any cuts. This dance goes on.
Obama’s Smart Campaign. Ha, the author calls the Obama reelection strategy “the content-free campaign.” Heh.
Leadership goes begging, but pure smarmy politics is the main refuge of this wannabe scoundrel.
