Lindsey Graham (I)diot,  gives yet another reason why he is ready for retirement:

“I wish we could find some way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we’re in a war. During World War II, you had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy. Burning a Koran is a terrible thing, but it doesn’t justify killing someone.”

Well, Hell.  Who knew?  Calling the Japanese “Japs” and the Germans “Krauts” could have been brought to a screeching halt, if the Japanese and the Germans let us know that they were killing us because we called them names.

Last I looked, restricting freedom to express an opinion, even when it is expressed stupidly, to appease an enemy wasn’t a winning strategy.  Maybe we need to make Lindsay write “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” a thousand times, and then publically apologize.

We're from the government, and we're here to ea...help.

More Americans work for the government than work in construction, farming, fishing, forestry, manufacturing, mining and utilities combined. We have moved decisively from a nation of makers to a nation of takers. Nearly half of the $2.2 trillion cost of state and local governments is the $1 trillion-a-year tab for pay and benefits of state and local employees. Is it any wonder that so many states and cities cannot pay their bills?

This is going to get ugly.  Very ugly.  This isn’t just about our society eating itself any more.  This is about the takers sucking the marrow from the bones of the makers.
